Ben Affleck Buys Drew Barrymore's Charred Home
Actor Ben Affleck has stepped in to help out his fellow Hollywood star Drew Barrymore - by buying her fire-ravaged home.
The Pearl Harbor (2001) hunk shelled out a whopping $3 million (£2. 1 million) for the four-acre (1. 6-hectare) Beverly Hills, California, property which was destroyed by flames last year (2001).
But Affleck has yet to move into the home - he's staying in the guest cottage until construction is completed on a new main house. Charlie's Angels (2000) star Barrymore has just purchased herself a Hollywood Hills home for $4. 5 million (£3. 2 million), after renting for over a year.
