Two Hollywood heavyweights are joining forces to bring an animation about the life of rat to the big screen.

Britain's Aardman Animations and DreamWorks Pictures are to collaborate on the journey of a London mouse that is unfortunate enough to be flushed down the toilet.

To be written by British duo Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais the film will be called Flushed Away.

This news comes after Aardman have halted the production of its Tortoise vs. Hare film due to script problems. 90 people were layed off and assigned to other projects until the problems are resolved.
