Freddie Prinze Jr. has told of how he regrets dying his hair for the role of Fred in hit movie Scooby Doo (2002), he thought it would be easier than wearing a wig.

"I had the bright idea that a wig would be a hassle and more trouble than it's worth, so I thought it would be brilliant to dye my hair - and that was the wrong choice! As a guy, if you have dark hair, it's a pain in the a**. I never thought I would ever use terms like 'My roots!' or 'My dye job!' or 'My colour's not holding! "
