Winona Ryder's trial for shoplifting has been postponed until next week.
Superior Court Judge Elden Fox says the prosecutor and Ryder's lawyer have agreed the trial should start on October 15.
Ryder was arrested at the Saks Fifth Avenue store in Beverly Hills on December 12, 2001.
She is charged with second-degree burglary, grand theft, vandalism and possession of a controlled substance. She could face three years in prison if convicted.
