Kylie Minogue says she wants to make it as an actress and is after a big part.

The singer, who starred as Charlene in Neighbours, said: "People see me as Kylie the singer. It would be a dream for me to be taken seriously as an actress."

She had a starring role in the 1989 film The Delinquents and played The Green Fairy in 2001 smash Moulin Rouge!

But she missed out on a role in The Lord Of The Rings because she's so tiny, says The Sun.
