Brendan Gleeson and Frances de la Tour have been added to the cast for the fourth Harry Potter film.

According to Empire Gleason, currently co-starring with Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom in Troy, will play teacher Mad Eye Moody.

De La Tour, who is best known for her role as Miss Jones in the 70's comedy Rising Damp, will appear as Madame Maxine.

Madame Maxine is headmistress of French wizarding school Beauxbatons, who also becomes a love interest for Hagrid, played by Robbie Coltrane.

Filming on the fourth movie is due to begin later this year it will hit cinemas in November 2005.
