Rachel Weisz has joined the cast of the forthcoming sci-fi adventure The Fountain.

She will star opposite Hugh Jackman in the movie, which is being directed by Darren Aronofsky.

Hollywood Reporter says much of the story is being kept under wraps, but it reportedly follows one man's journey in the present as well as 500 years into the past and future.
