No U-Turn For Lucas On Star Wars

It looks as though the force is no longer with Star Wars creator George Lucas, who has ruled out any plans to make another trilogy.Lucas' sixth Star Wars film, Episode Three: Revenge Of The Sith, is to be his last.

The man behind the magic said he was too old to continue the saga and wanted to focus on other projects. But he did hint at plans to make the huge film series into a TV series.Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen reprise their roles as Obi-Wan/Ben Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker/Lord Darth Vader respectively. But one star who won't be taking part is British actor Gary Oldman. He had been due to do the sinister voice for Jedi-killer General Grievous in Revenge of the Sith but pulled out after realising it conflicted with rules of the Screen Actors Guild. The decision left Lucas angry and in need of a re-cast.Revenge of the Sith is due out next year.
