Elizabeth Taylor is recovering after breaking her back - for the fifth time.

The ailing Hollywood legend reportedly underwent intensive treatment at a private Los Angeles hospital for a shattered bone in her lower spine.

The actress and grandmother-of-nine was sent home the following day and told by doctors to rest.
