Clint Eastwood Hotel Verdict: Not Guilty

LATEST: Jurors hearing a disabled woman's lawsuit against CLINT EASTWOOD have found the actor "not guilty" of violating the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Eastwood, who was being sued by DIANE ZUM BRUNNEN, who claimed parts of his historic parts MISSION RANCH hotel in Carmel, California were inaccessible to her wheelchair when she had dinner there in 1996, was in court yesterday (29SEP00) to hear the outcome of the case.

After taking a tour of the actor's ranch on Wednesday (27SEP00), the jurors rejected the suit, voting eight to none in favour of a not guilty verdict.

They did add, however, that the hotel should have better signs to direct people to wheelchair accessible restrooms.
