Outrageous talk show host JERRY SPRINGER has been sent out on the road in an attempt to win back American audiences, which have dwindled since his programmes cut back on on-screen fighting.

Producers of his programme are insisting he visit trailer (caravan) parks to record "entertaining" taped segments for his show. A new logo and set will be in use when the JERRY SPRINGER SHOW starts a new series next week in the United States.

Executive producer RICHARD DOMINICK says, "If we don't re-invent every two years, it will be boring."

Next week (begs02OCT00) the SPRINGER-CAM follows a wife to a hotel, where she catches her husband in bed with another woman.
