Russell in talks for A Good Year


Russell Crowe is in talks to star in A Good Year.

The film will be adapted from Peter Mayle's novel of the same name.

Crowe would play an investment banker who loses his job and moves to Provence reports Variety.

While in Provence he takes over a failing vineyard owned by his dead uncle - a move complicated by the arrival of an unknown American cousin.

The film will be directed by Ridley Scott.
