Kong Girl Snubs Bond

King Kong actress Naomi Watts has been tipped as favourite to be 007's next leading lady.

But according to The Sun, insiders claim she will turn down the chance to star alongside new James Bond actor Daniel Craig.

The word is that she fears the "Curse of the Bond Girl" could thwart her career...

Charlize Theron is thought to have said "thanks, but no thanks" too.

What are they afraid of?

Well... Halle Berry played Jinx in 2002's Die Another Day, but consequent films like Catwoman haven't brought her the success of her pre-Bond Oscar-winning glory.

Teri Hatcher also cosied-up to Bond for Tomorrow Never Dies, but until Desperate Housewives came along, the roles weren't forthcoming.

Other former Bond Babes like Britt Eckland, Barbara Bach and Ursula Andress also saw their careers flounder after shaking the famous spy's Martini.

We will have to wait and see who will join Daniel on set for the filming of Bond's latest adventure.

The Casino Royale remake is due to be released in November 2006.

Who'd have thought James Bond would be struggling to find a date?
