Reese: I'm very blessed

Reese Witherspoon says she feels "very blessed" after receiving a best actress Oscar nomination.

She was nominated for her role as singer June Carter Cash, wife of Johnny Cash in Walk the Line.

According to BBC online she said: "Every actor at the Oscars wants to win, I mean what's the point (otherwise). It's great to be there and I feel like, I'm 29 years old, I'm really lucky to be there and whatever happens I feel blessed."

Reese says she is looking forward to the Oscars ceremony and now has to decide what to wear.

She added: "The awards all become about clothes, not films. It's very bizarre. It's funny how you work your butt off, win an award and it's all about your dress. You can't get away from it.

"
I wish it wasn't the focus of everything. But having children who are sick on your shoes before you head out to an awards ceremony keeps you grounded."
