Vince Vaughn is to play Santa Claus's loser brother in a new Christmas comedy.

He will reunite with Wedding Crashers director David Dobkin for Fred Claus, reports Variety.

The comedy revolves around Santa's black-sheep brother, who heads back to the North Pole and gets a chance to redeem himself.
