Detroit-born rapper Eminem has signed up to a remake of the 1950s TV Western, Have Gun - Will Travel.

The show will be modernized and made into a film, with a guest appearance from Em - real name Marshall Mathers - who will be playing a bounty hunter in his home town, reports Gigwise.

It is also rumoured that the 8 Mile star, who last appeared in 50 Cent's film The Massacre, will help out with the film's soundtrack.
