Sarah Michelle Gellar is to star in the new thriller Addicted.

According to the Hollywood Reporter will follow the story of a woman as she tries to unearth the truth after her husband and brother-in-law get into a serious accident and the latter awakes from his coma claiming to be the husband.

The film is based on South Korean film Jungdok.

It will begin filming in October.
