Halle Berry has agreed to star in Class Act.

Berry will play Tierney Cahill, a teacher from Reno, Nevada, who takes a challenge from her sixth-grade students to run for Congress in the 2000 elections.

The film, based on a true story, is due to start filming in May or June, reports Variety.
