Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio are to star together for the first time since Titanic.

They have been lined up to appear in a new film called Revolutionary Road.

The movie will be directed by Winslet's husband Sam Mendes, reports Variety.com.

Revolutionary Road will be based on the 1961 Richard Yates novel about post-war disillusionment.

Set in the 1950s, it is about the deteriorating relationship between an ostensibly happy couple living in a Connecticut suburb.

Titanic, released in 1997, is the world's biggest all-time box office movie with global takings of more than £900 million.
