Shia Labeouf could lose a finger on the hand he crushed in a car crash last week, according to U.S. Reports.

The actor is nursing a heavily bandaged hand after flipping his truck twice in a collision with another vehicle in Hollywood on 27 July.

He underwent surgery and spent several days in hospital, causing delays to his new movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Director Michael Bay is currently adding Labeouf's injury to the movie's storyline - and may have to incorporate a missing finger, if reports on Starmagazine.com prove true.
