American singer MARIAH CAREY has slammed reports she and co-star ERIC BENET have been having romantic liaisons - and insists she'll always be true to her lover LOUIS MIGUEL.

Carey and Benet, who is engaged to actress HALLE BERRY, have been filming her movie ALL THAT GLITTERS in Vancouver, Canada, and American tabloids had reported Berry had flown up to keep an eye on her roving fiance.

According to Carey, the reports are nothing more than fabrication - and she's 100 per cent committed to her Latin boyfriend LUIS MIGUEL.

Carey says, "There has been a whole bunch or ridiculous press that Eric Benet and I are in some kind of love fest. We would have loved to have Halle come to the set but she didn't. "It's a complete lie. It's been hard on Luis, filming a movie means you can't see each other too much, but we manage."
