Best-selling British novelist Jeffrey Archer, the central figure in one of the longest-running political scandals in recent British history, said that since his stage debut in The Accused, a courtroom drama that he wrote, he has received four offers to appear in movies, three from Hollywood.
Archer, who appeared in court Wednesday on charges of perjury and perverting the course of justice, told the London Independent: "Yes, I would like to be in a film, possibly in America. ... I enjoy acting intensely, and I concentrate on it fully. I am literally not thinking about anything else at the moment."
