Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk?

The 42-year-old actor is reportedly in negotiations to take over Edward Norton’s role in the upcoming superhero film. Marvel Studios announced Edward would not be reprising his role as the muscle-bound green mutant earlier this month.

Studio executives are now searching for a replacement and Mark is said to be at the top of their list, and the only man they are negotiating with at present.

Avengers, The (2012) is due for release in 2012 and will star Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth.
