Radcliffe 'doesn't want to reprise Potter role'

Daniel Radcliffe has admitted that he is unlikely to reprise the role of Harry Potter in the future.

J.K Rowling recently confessed to feeling low after she finished writing the series of novels, and insisted that she "could definitely write an eighth, ninth and tenth" book.

However, Radcliffe revealed that the author's admission surprised him, telling Sky News: "Oh God, she promised me categorically that there wouldn't be another book involving Harry."

The actor went on to say that he is "very doubtful" as to whether he would want to be involved if a future Potter film should arise.

"I think ten years is a long time to spend with one character," he added.

The first instalment of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows opens on November 19.
