Will and Jada deny split report

Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith have shot down rumours of a split.

The couple, who are regarded to have one of Hollywood's strongest marriages, have been married for 13 years and have two children together but US magazine In Touch alleged that they had decided to separate, citing an insider.

Will and Jada strongly denied the rumours in a joint statement to TMZ.com, which read: "Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumours circulating about our relationship are completely false."

"We are still together, and our marriage is intact," they added.

Will's eldest son Trey, from a previous marriage, also took to Twitter to deny the stories.

"No they did NOT split! False information. It's not true!!! Everyone can think what they want... even if it's not true," he wrote.

The couple - who tied the knot in 1997 after meeting on the set of The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air - are no strangers to speculation surrounding their marriage.

"I've heard all the things - their marriage is not real, he's gay, she's gay, they swing," Jada said on a US radio show in 2009.

"But at the end of the day, people have to believe what they have to believe. I'll tell you what, it's too hard to be in a pretend marriage. Life's too short for that one."
