Halle Berry has spilled the beans for the first time on her recent engagement to Oliver Martinez.

The Oscar-winning actress hasn't said a word in public about the exciting news, which her French actor beau confirmed in January.

But she joked about the engagement to Terri Seymour on Extra, saying: "Who knew? I swore it off, right? Never say never, people!"

Halle has been married twice before. First to baseball player David Justice, and then to musician Eric Benet.

She was then in a relationship with model Gabriel Aubrey, with whom she had daughter Nahla, although the two split up in 2010.
