Arnold Schwarzenegger will not be in the upcoming Avatar sequel, a spokesman for the film has said.
It had been reported that the Expendables star was to reunite with his Terminator and True Lies director James Cameron for the film, playing a villain.
However, according to The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision blog, 20th Century Fox has said there is no truth to the rumour.
A Fox spokesperson said Arnie, 66, was not being lined-up to play the baddie or any other role in the sci-fi film.
Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana are expected to return for Avatar 2, which is set to be released in December 2016.
Avatar 3 is expected to be unveiled in December 2017, and Avatar 4 will follow in December 2018.
