Pitt's New Movie Thrown Into Chaos By Middle East Fighting

Shooting on BRAD PITT and ROBERT REDFORD's new movie has closed down, because of problems in the Middle East.

Production offices in Tel Aviv, Israel, for SPYGAME, a cold-war thriller co-starring Pitt and Redford, were closed yesterday (13OCT00) due to fighting.

Filmmakers were due to begin production next Saturday (21OCT00), shooting military scenes in Haifa.

Redford and Pitt are in London for wardrobe fittings and make-up tests. Their shooting schedule is being rearranged with filming now starting in London.

Then, the production will move to Budapest, Hungary, with filming scouts racing to find a possible replacement for the Middle East location.

But the delays may throw the actors' schedules into havoc - Pitt was reportedly trying to fit in the film before a long vacation to spend his first Christmas as a married man with new wife JENNIFER ANISTON, while Redford is due back in Los Angeles for the October 29 (00) premiere of THE LEGEND OF BAGGER VANCE, in which he directs WILL SMITH and MATT DAMON.
