MEG RYAN is gearing up to start back at work again for the first time since she finished PROOF OF LIFE and started a whirlwind affair with RUSSELL CROWE.

The CITY OF ANGELS star has her own production company with her partner NINA SADOWSKY called PRUFROCK FILMS.

And although Ryan failed to show at the premiere of LOST SOULS, a film she produced in Los Angeles this week (11OCT00), Sadowsky hinted Ryan is gearing up for a new project. She says, "It's hard to be a multi-hyphenate and wear more than one hat but I'm optimistic she'll be acting in a PRUFROCK PICTURES film as well as produce them soon."
