A few weeks ago, it was revealed that the highly anticipated sequel to Zack Snyder's Man of Steel has become a "top priority" for Warner Bros., and that the film was rumored to be in its earliest stages of development.

Where the film fits in the ever-growing DC Film slate has yet to be seen. But according to Henry Cavill's management, the Man of Steel sequel is officially happening, and a lot sooner than we thought.

Dany Garcia confirmed that development is under way for the "Superman standalone" project, which is believed to be Man of Steel 2.
