‘Murder On The Orient Express’ eyes Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer.

Sir Kenneth Branagh‘s planned redo of Agatha Christie’s Murder On The Orient Express has just stepped up its casting prospects and is said to be eyeing Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer for two key roles.

Once he's completed his theatre commitments in London, Kenneth Branagh is set to press ahead with directing his next feature film, an adaptation of Agatha Christie's Murder On The Orient Express.

The film is expected to start filming this side of Christmas, although crucially, it doesn't yet have its two lead stars in place. Previously, Charlize Theron and Angelina Jolie had been linked with the film, although those are rumours that didn't come to anything. But now, Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer - who previously appeared together in Dark Shadows for Tim Burton - are been linked with the production.
