William Ivory - Details

Biography

William Ivory’s writing credits span theater, television and film.

His play Marco’s Ceiling was performed at the Manchester Royal Exchange and he received a commission from the Nottingham Playhouse for The Truth About Eric.

Ivory wrote the original serial Common As Muck for the BBC and several episodes of the series Minder. He also wrote King Leek as a single screenplay for Granada and The Sunshine in My Life for Kelso Films. It was his original screenplay Journey to Knock which first attracted Uberto Pasolini’s eye.
