Biography

WAYNE DUVALL spent seven years in New York training and performing in numerous theatre productions before heading west to pursue his career in film and television. He began working steadily on television guest starring on such critically acclaimed shows as "The X-Files, Profiler" and "Chicago Hope." He played a psychotic killer opposite his childhood hero Dick Van Dyke in "Diagnosis Murder," and appeared in several highly rated movies-of-the-week.

Duvall's motion picture career began auspiciously with Ron Howard's "Apollo 13." Having played the good guy in such feature films as "The Deep End of the Ocean" with Michelle Pfeiffer, "The Fan" with Robert De Niro and Wesley Snipes, "My Fellow Americans," with acting legends Jack Lemmon and James Garner as well as several independent films, Duvall played his first bad guy role in "Hard Rain," which also starred Morgan Freeman and Christian Slater.

Duvall co-stars with Andre Braugher in the upcoming independent film "A Better Way to Die." He is also completing his first feature film script as well as writing songs for his forthcoming country album.
