Biography

Carla Shelley (Line Producer) has been a film producer at Aardman for six years. She won a BAFTA Award for her work on Nick Park's Oscar-winning Wallace & Gromit film "A Close Shave." She also produced Darren Walsh's Oscar and BAFTA-nominated "HumDrum" and Peter Peake's BAFTA-nominated "Pib & Pog" for Channel 4, in addition to working on "The Amazing Adventures of Morph" for BBC television.

Shelley came to Aardman as a production assistant in 1989 from a model making company, having also had a background in radio production with the BBC. Moving up through the ranks, she became head of production for Aardman's commercials department in 1991. She has produced numerous commercials, including for the Lurpak campaign, the Heat Electric ads featuring Nick Park's famous "Creature Comforts" characters, and Cadbury's Creme Eggs.
