Biography

CHRISTOPHER YOUNG was born in 1959 in Red Bank, New Jersey, Young graduated from Massachusetts Hampshire College with a B. A. in music. He did graduate work at North Texas State University before moving to California in the early 1980's. He has received two Emmy nominations for his work on the films "Last Flight Out" and the critically acclaimed HBO picture "Norma Jean & Marilyn," the Saturn Award for Best Score for the feature "Hellbound: Helraiser II" and was most recently named "Composer of the Year" by Scorelogue.com.

He has scored an impressive number of films in a wide range of genres. His film credits include "Wonder Boys"; "Species"; "Murder in the First"; "Copycat"; "Set It Off"; and the true-life drama "The Hurricane."
