William Kerr - Details

Biography

WILLIAM M. KERR was born in Kansas, but moved to Los Angeles in 1980 where he met director Peter Segal with whom he's been collaborating for 15 years.

In addition to editing feature films, Kerr has received 8 Los Angeles Emmy Awards and garnered numerous other honors for his work in television series, music videos and specials. To help celebrate the 20th anniversary release of the album Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band, Kerr produced and edited the documentary with the cooperation of Apple Corps. and Capitol Records which earned him an Emmy Awards.

Kerr began his career traveling around the globe as a documentary producer and cameraman for over 10 years with CBS Television.
