Biography

Mara Wilson is Lily, whose trip to visit her grandfather turns into a heroic journey involving Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends. Wilson recently becomes the youngest ever winner of the prestigious NATO-ShoWest Star of Tomorrow Award.

The young actress made her debut at the age of six as Rbin Williams and Sally Fields daughter in Mrs. Doubtfire. She then beat out every little boy across the country for the lead role in the remake of Miracle on 34th Street. Next, she took on the lead role of children’s heroine Matilda starring with Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman, and starred in Michael Ritchie’s The Fairy Godmother. She will next be seen in P.J. Hogans New Kid on the Block.
