Biography

BEATRIX ARUNA PASZTOR has designed the costumes for nearly 20 films, enjoying a long working relationship with director Gus Van Sant, working with the director on "Drugstore Cowboy," "My Own Private Idaho," "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues," "To Die For," "Good Will Hunting" and "Psycho."

Born in Budapest, Pasztor studied at the Academy of Applied Arts and graduated in 1984, when she moved to New York. There she was a hat designer and window display dresser before beginning her career in films and moving to Los Angeles.
