Biography

Veteran character actor JOHN DE LANCIE will next be seen in the independent production "Quality Time." He is best known to television audiences for his recurring role as Q on the "Star Trek" series ("Star Trek: Voyager," "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine").

Among de Lancie's feature film credits are "Multiplicity," "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle," "The Fisher King," "Bad Influence," "Loving Couples" and "The Onion Field."

On television, he also appeared in the mini-series "The Thorn Birds" and was a regular for five years on the daytime series "Days of Our Lives." He was also the voice of Dr. Quest on the cartoon series "Johnny Quest: The New Adventures" and founded, with Leonard Nimoy, the audio book series "Alien Voices."
