DAVID NICKSAY was recently the Executive Producer of The Rocky and Bullwinkle Movie. The combined live action/animation comedy, which will be released this summer, features a multitude of visual effects and comic performances from Robert De Niro, Rene Russo, Jason Alexander, Whoopi Goldberg, Billy Crystal, Janeane Garofolo, Kenan and Kel, Carl Reiner and John Goodman, as well as Moose and Squirrel.
Nicksay has also executive produced The Negotiator, Flubber, and Addams Family Values and produced Up Close and Personal, starring Robert Redford and Michelle Pfeiffer.
From 1989 to 1992 he was President and Head of Production at Morgan Creek, where he acted as executive producer on six of the company's pictures including Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves, Pacific Heights and Young Guns II.
Prior to joining Morgan Creek, he was Sr. VP Production at Paramount Pictures, where he served as an executive on Ghost, Coming to America, The Untouchables, Scrooged, Star Trek V, The Two Jakes and many others.
Earlier in his career Nicksay produced Lucas, and Mrs Soffel, the two hour telefilm pilot for the series Call to Glory and the multiple Emmy nominated miniseries, Little Gloria…Happy at Last.
He is a graduate of the Directors Guild of America Assistant Directors Training Program, a member of the Motion Picture and Television Academies, the Directors' Guild, and the American Film Institute Education and Training Advisory Board
