David Codron - Details

Biography

David Codron most recently edited the independent film, "Why Love Doesn't Work" and the New Line comedy "Drop Dead Gorgeous" starring Kirsten Dunst, Ellen Barkin and Denise Richards. Prior to that he worked with writer/director Don Roos on the critically acclaimed film, "The Opposite of Sex," starring Christina Ricci and Lisa Kudrow. The film received numerous accolades including two Independent Feature Project Spirit Awards for Best First Feature Film and Best Screenplay.

Codron began his career as a production assistant and worked his way up through the editorial ranks. He has edited and supervised post production on numerous independent films, television series and miniseries including the telepic "Murder in New Hampshire," starring Helen Hunt for which he garnered an A.C.E. Award nomination for Best Editing.

Codron recently served as a creative consultant on the NBC mid season replacement "M.Y.O.B." for NBC.
