Biography

Bruce McGillBRUCE McGILL (Walter Hagen) is a widely respected actor who has worked extensively in films for more than 20 years. He first gained attention riding up the staircase on his motorcycle in his role as D-Day in the classic "National Lampoon's Animal House." Most recently, he was seen in Michael Mann's acclaimed real-life drama "Insider, The (1999)." Among his many other film credits are "Rosewood," "Courage Under Fire (1996)," "imecop (1994)," "Perfect World, A (1993)," "Cliffhanger (1993)," "My Cousin Vinny (1992)" and "Silkwood (1983)."
McGill has also been kept busy in television. Last summer, he starred with Tom Selleck in the TNT Original Movie "Running Mates." He has just completed filming a starring role in the HBO movie "61*," about the home run battle between Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris, directed by Billy Crystal and premiering in Spring 2001. His other longform credits include "Everything That Rises," "Shadow of a Doubt," "The Good Old Boys," "Good Night Sweet Wife: A Murder in Boston," "Baby M," "The Man Who Fell to Earth," "The Last Innocent Man" and "A Whale for the Killing." Having also made numerous guest star appearances on episodic television, McGill most recently starred with Andre Braugher in the pilot episode of "Gideon's Crossing."
