Biography

JOSEPH P. REIDY has previously collaborated with Robert Redford as the first assistant director/co-producer on "Horse Whisperer, The (1998)," and as the first assistant director on "Quiz Show (1994)." He has also enjoyed long associations with other directors including Martin Scorsese, with whom he is currently working as the first assistant director/co-producer on "Gangs Of New York (2001)." For Scorsese, Reidy previously served in the same capacities on "Bringing Out The Dead (1999)," as first assistant director/associate producer on "Casino (1995)" and "Age Of Innocence, The (1993)," and as first assistant director on "Cape Fear (1991)," "Goodfellas (1990)," "Last Temptation of Christ, The (1988)" and "Color of Money, The (1986)." For Oliver Stone, Reidy was first assistant director on "JFK (1991)," "Doors, The (1991)," "Born On The Fourth Of July (1989)" and "Talk Radio."
