Biography

Reba McEntire has appeared in a number of movies, including Ron Underwood's cult classic "Tremors" and Penelope Spheeris' "The Little Rascals." In addition, she has starred in several telefilms, including Rod Hardy's miniseries "Buffalo Girls" (as Annie Oakley); and three CBS movies that she also executive-produced: "Is There Life Out There?" (directed by David Hugh Jones), "Forever Love" (directed by Michael Switzer), and "Secret of Giving" (directed by Sam Pillsbury).

This winter, she will make her Broadway stage debut in the revival of the musical "Annie Get Your Gun," starring as Annie Oakley (marking her second portrayal of the Western legend).

When not in front of the camera or performing onstage, McEntire can be found behind the microphone. During her career as a recording artist, she has sold more than 40 million records and been honored with 60-plus awards. She was recently named the Female Country Music Artist of the Century by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
