Biography

MARC FRYDMAN previously produced Rod Lurie's debut feature film "Deterrence." In addition, he served as an associate producer on "Nil By Mouth (1997) ," which was written, directed and produced by Gary Oldman, and as an executive producer on "Sex Monster," directed by Mike Binder. Frydman is currently in development on the films "The Jacket," and "Winter Hill Gang," both for director Marc Rocco.
Born in Paris, Frydman began his career as a member of the team that founded the French pay TV channel Canal +, eventually becoming Vice President of Feature Film Development. In 1992, when Canal + created Hexagon Films, Frydman was named head of film production at Hexagon. During that time, he produced "Boiling Point (1993) ," starring Wesley Snipes, and Marc Rocco's "Murder In The First (1995) ," starring Christian Slater, Kevin Bacon and Gary Oldman. Frydman also worked on Roland Emmerich's sci-fi hit "Stargate," starring Kurt Russell and James Spader.
