John Berton Jr joined industrial Light and Magic's computer graphics team in 1990 to work on feature film Terminator 2: judgment Day (1991). He holds a BA degree in Communications and film from Denison University, and an MA in Art Education/Computer Graphics from Ohio State University. Prior to ILM, Berton created computer animation and electronic music for both commercial and artistic productions including Cranston/Csuri Productions, Ohio Supercomputer Center, Oho State University and Mental Images GmbH. In addition to the two Mummy films, he was visual effects supervisor on Sommers' Deep Rising (1998). He was computer graphics supervisor on Men In Black (1997) and Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition He has also worked on projects including Casper (1995), Mask, The (1994), Baby's Day Out (1994), Flintstones, The (1994), Jurassic Park (1993), Death Becomes Her (1992) and Star Trek VI.
