Michael Bisping joins sequel cast alongside Gerard Butler.

UFC champ Michael Bisping has jumped on board Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, where he will star opposite fellow returning actors Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr.

Bisping will be reprising his role of Connor, who was seen at the end of the first movie. Den of Thieves 2: Pantera will find Big Nick (Butler) back on the hunt on the mean streets of Europe, closing in on Donnie (Jackson Jr.), who is embroiled in the dangerous world of diamond thieves and the infamous Panther mafia, as they plot a massive heist of the world’s biggest diamond exchange.

Bisping, who does color commentary for UFC after retiring from competition, has acted in other action movies like xXx: The Return of Xander Cage and Triple Threat. He's also appeared in other films like Plastic, My Name Is Lenny, and Never Back Down: Revolt, as well as notable TV shows like Twin Peaks, MacGyver, Magnum P.I., and Warrior. Bisping was also the presenter for the Netflix docuseries Hyperdrive and was the subject of the Universal documentary film Bisping. He also has a starring role in the upcoming Red Sonja remake from Millennium.

The original Den of Thieves was written and directed by Christian Gudegast. The action movie follows a team of police officers looking to stop a gang of ex-Marines planning to rob the Federal Reserve in Los Angeles. Along with Butler and Jackson, the film also starred Pablo Schreiber, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Evan Jones, Dawn Olivieri, and Mo McRae. It had a respectable performance in theaters, surpassing $80 million at the box office with a budget of around $30 million.
