AUNJANUE ELLIS made her Broadway debut in George C. Wolfe's "The Tempest" which began as a Shakespeare in the Park production. This summer she returned to Shakespeare, as Hermione, Queen of Sicily, in "The Winter's Tale."
In February, Ellis will be seen in the film "Caveman's Valentine" with Samuel L. Jackson. Her other motion picture credits include "Girlstown," "In Too Deep," "Desert Blue" and "Map of the World," starring Sigourney Weaver,
On television, Ellis has a recurring role on "The Practice," and has guest-starred on "Third Watch" and "New York Undercover."
Ellis studied acting in the graduate drama program at NYU after receiving her B.A. in African-American studies from Brown University.
