Biography

Bruce WillisBRUCE WILLIS has demonstrated incredible versatility in his career with such diverse roles as the action-hero in the popular Die Hard film series, a meek, classic anti-hero in Death Becomes Her, the prizefighter in Quentin Tarantino's Academy Award winning Pulp Fiction, and the traumatized Vietnam vet in Norman Jewison's In Country.

Willis, raised in New Jersey native, attended Montclair State College for its highly regarded theater program. He was soon cast in several commercials and off-Broadway plays, but his acting breakthrough came when he replaced the lead in Sam Shephard's stage drama, Fool for Love.

An accomplished musician as well, Willis recorded the 1986 Motown album, Bruce Willis: The Return of Bruno, which went platinum and contained the #5 Billboard hit, "Respect Yourself."

In 1989, he released a second album, If It Don't Kill You. It Just Makes You Stronger.
