TOM CRUISE has had a close shave with the style-police with his new look - he's completely bald.
The TOP GUN (1986) hunk stunned guests at his 39th birthday party to celebrate his 39th birthday last week (06JUL01) when he appeared without a lock of hair.
And the star continued to stay centre-stage all evening as he joked around with actor CUBA GOODING JR., even riding on his shoulders at one point. Tom - whose estranged wife NICOLE KIDMAN is reported to have urged mutual friends to stay away from the bash - was presented with a huge cake at the party in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, where guests included his VANILLA SKY (2001) co-star Penélope CRUz, JIM CARREY,EMILIO ESTEVEZ, ROB LOWE and Renée ZELLWEGER.
